Brenda asked us to create a set of fun and playful ornaments for her Spring/Summer tree. This is one of the most fanciful and elaborate layered toppers (packed with details on all sides) that I have ever made. I was lucky enough to find a grass-green topper with green bells and created a summer scene diorama with maiden in yellow dress; lots of flowers both paper and fabric; doves on a circular trellis with matching fan (both from a Victorian valentine) backed with green cellophane. I enjoyed embellishing bells and topper with a beautiful variety of gold vintage Dresden paper trims.
