SPECIAL FEATURES
This mid-century blue and magenta glass indent contains an antique head-and-shoulders scrap of Ulysses Grant in uniform and also a flag hand-cut from an antique postcard. The ornament is adorned with Dresden paper trims, antique and vintage Dresden paper stars, antique tinsel tail, and early vintage metallic lace. A GREAT VALUE FOR SUCH A HANDSOME ORNAMENT!

THIS ONE-OF-A-KIND ORNAMENT is made almost exclusively with antique and early vintage materials, including old glass ornament(s) with beautiful patina; detailed German made embossed scrap(s) and chromolithographs (most of them predate the 1900s and are meticulously backed with early papers and/or old tinsel); a variety of old fabric to include chenille, lace, ribbon and metallic trims; old decorative tinsel (most of which is from old tree garlands); and old papers of all kinds, including lovely old-stock Dresden paper trims, crepe paper, old foil, gift wrap, and other embellishments. The exceptions to the exclusive use of old materials are as follows: 1) occasionally we use newer Dresden paper made in Germany that has been embossed and stamped with antique equipment; 2) Our high-quality gold and silver crinkle-wire is made in Germany with antique equipment.
