SPECIAL FEATURES

These beautiful vintage bead garlands are hand-strung in 3 foot lengths; they look especially nice on feather trees.  The shorter lengths makes it easy to swag them evenly in rows on smaller trees!  I created a repeating pattern with 5 different kinds of beads: delicate faceted gold oblong beads nestled in-between pink antique  cross-shaped beads along with a variety of petite round glass beads (pink, lime green, and embossed pale gold).

Bead strings are carefully cushioned in soft tissue on all sides to avoid breakage and are packaged in our signature Dresden Star Ornaments gold boxes. Handy care and handling tips sheet is included in each box. We recommend that you store these garlands between tissue in their original box when not in use.

JUST IMAGINE, THESE GARLANDS ARE 50-70 YEARS OLD!!!  Please note that missing paint, discoloration due to age, and rough edges will be present on these garlands and is a normal part of the character of older vintage items. I have been careful not to use any broken or cracked beads. I have taken good pictures so you can examine the condition before you buy. Additional note: We prefer not to use "mercury glass"  in our descriptions or titles because it was actually a silver nitrate solution, not real mercury, that was applied inside the glass beads during these time periods to give a metallic appearance to the colors.
