I have had this very special vintage nut-cup made with realistic tulip petals fashioned from shades of lavender crepe paper for many years now, and after finding this fanciful antique scrap girl riding a swan, I decided I could finally part with it. She has such a mystical fairytale quality and feels at home within the curvaceous petals of this dainty flower basket. I meticulously backed this delicate illustration and used my finest antique silver paper, adding scrap flowers and shiny antique “lametta” tinsel. After selecting soft silver-gold antique tinsel for inside the basket, the only other appropriate decoration for this perfect ornament was to create a delicate handle as pretty as the ornament. I selected beautiful silver German-made decorative wire twisted with tiny antique white fabric bump loop trim.
