SPECIAL FEATURES

These beautiful mid-century bead garlands are hand-strung in 9 foot lengths and due to the size of the beads will look glorious especially on a big tree. I created a repeating pattern with large 1/2" dark blue, lime green, pink/magenta, and pale gold round beads that are separated by silver beads in varying sizes, smaller green beads, and gorgeous gold oblong faceted beads with embossed red starburst centers.

Bead strings are carefully cushioned in soft tissue on all sides to avoid breakage and are packaged in our signature Dresden Star Ornaments gold boxes. Handy care and handling tips sheet is included in each box. We recommend that you store these garlands between tissue in their original box when not in use.

Please note: Since glass bead inventory is getting harder to find and has increased in price, we’ve also had to increase the price of our bead garlands.

JUST IMAGINE, THESE GARLANDS ARE 50-70 YEARS OLD!!!  Please note that missing paint, discoloration due to age, and rough edges will be present on these garlands and is a normal part of the character of older vintage items. I have been careful not to use any broken or cracked beads. I have taken good pictures so you can examine the condition before you buy. Additional note: We prefer not to use "mercury glass"  in our descriptions or titles because it was actually a silver nitrate solution, not real mercury, that was applied inside the glass beads during these time periods to give a metallic appearance to the colors.
