    SPECIAL FEATURES

This stunning garland is hand strung with vintage beads and is almost 7 ft long. Christine asked me to design two sets of garlands to decorate her 44 inch ivory feather trees. This is the first set out of the two designs, four of these garlands fill our largest feather tree nicely! Silver highlights pops of gold, turquoise, pastel pink, chartreuse, and magenta. This garland is one of my personal favorites because the way each garland showcases small gold/magenta diamonds and the variety of our one-of-a-kind antique Victorian beads.

Bead strings are carefully cushioned in soft tissue on all sides to avoid breakage and are packaged in our signature Dresden Star Ornaments gold boxes. Handy care and handling tips sheet is included in each box. We recommend that you store these garlands between tissue in their original box when not in use.

    Lovingly created by Alicia Giaimo.

JUST IMAGINE, THESE GARLANDS ARE 50-70 YEARS OLD!!!  Please note that missing paint, discoloration due to age, and rough edges will be present on these garlands and is a normal part of the character of older vintage items. I have been careful not to use any broken or cracked beads. I have taken good pictures so you can examine the condition before you buy. Additional note: We prefer not to use "mercury glass"  in our descriptions or titles because it was actually a silver nitrate solution, not real mercury, that was applied inside the glass beads during these time periods to give a metallic appearance to the colors.
