Gail wanted this customer requested Hansel and Gretel Gingerbread House, made with all vintage materials, to look so delicious that people would be shocked that it was created mostly out of paper, cotton, glitter, and glass “candies”.  In Gail’s words, “The jeweled ‘candies’ around the door remind me of the quarried stones the dwarfs in Snow White would have used to decorate their house.   The little pastel beads on the shutters hearken back to the memories of the candy necklaces I used to eat when I was small child.  The children fit right in, and I factored in their bright colors yet was able to incorporate my favorite pastel shades as well.” Handmade and Signed by Gail Giaimo.
