SPECIAL FEATURES

This is part of a collection of ornaments Dennis asked me to make him for Christmas this year. His one request was to “make them as beautiful and detailed as you can”.  I started with a magnificent 10” 1890s scrap boy dressed for the cold European winter and paired him with a humongous green icicle ornament just the right scale.  A luxurious assortment of gilded Gold trims, along with fabrics in colors matching the boy create magic and splendor; antique broach, glittered chenille to create freshly fallen snow, silver beadwork and loads of vertically hung crinkle-wire tie all the elements together.

You will receive your ornament gently packed between layers of tissue paper in a beautiful embossed gold box with care and handling instructions. With over 15 years of experience, we are expert at wire-wrapping each ornament to help protect it against accidental breakage (just like those smart Victorians). We take extra time and pains to meticulously back every scrap to cardstock and old-stock papers to protect these beautiful and fragile illustrations so they will last for generations to come.
