When I created this ornament I saw it had “Dennis” written all over it. He adores everything Victorian and loves the old glass ornaments, and their patina that comes along with age (like a good wine). This Victorian single balloon is over 120 years old and it is amazing that it is still intact, including its long slender pike. The antique scrap cherub just takes your breath away; the color of the ornament matches her grey-green eyes. I employed my best antique gold Dresden papers, along with strips of narrow antique scrap floral borders and tiny sequins and white rhinestones for the stars.
