SPECIAL FEATURES

This is part of a collection of ornaments Dennis asked me to make him for Christmas this year. His one request was to “make them as beautiful and detailed as you can”.  Dennis supplied me with this fantastic antique die-cut illustration (love the jabot); I added more paper toys – candy poppers in the top of the stocking, heart-shaped gingerbread cookies, cannon – and tucked a forget-me-not flower into his paper boat hat. The glass portion is equally fun, with rare blue Dresden paper railing, frosted candy-cane chenille, and little Japan-made jingle-bells.
