Very early antique scrap girl in blue winter outfit is walking with a freshly cut tree among the swirling snow (antique cotton dusted with mica and clear glass glitter), on a crisp Christmas morning.  Little circa 1940s bottlebrush trees, each decorated with early vintage multi-colored glass ornaments and antique tinsel rope, glitter in the sunlight amongst the snow drifts.  All this detail is atop a gilded circular candy container, richly embellished with our best antique Dresden papers, gorgeous rose pink hand-cut antique glass beadwork and circa 1930s Christmas wrapping paper. A circular handle made from early vintage mercury glass beads twisted with antique tiny white tatted loop lace, frames this magical scene beautifully.  Handmade and signed by Gail Giaimo.
