This circa 1890s antique die-cut scene was probably originally part of a Victorian diorama Easter card. This is one of the rare ornaments that Gail and Glenn both created together. We crafted different portions of the ornament and when all the pieces were assembled the colors, textures, and design are a seamless balance of lavender, greens and pastels that complement the rabbit chariot. Vintage Dresden paper die-cut lace border spirals around a vintage pink glass icicle ornament, accented with antique silk ombre ribbon-work, garland made up with vintage silk florals intermixed with paper leaves, and antique floral stamens (millinery) intermixed with vintage tinsel roping. Cheerful vintage yellow-gold miniature sphere ornaments dangle cheerfully from each end of this fanciful ornament.
