This ornament represents the bond of true friendship. The golden boat is circa 1920s and has its original glass mast. The rare antique scrap girl angel is in exquisite condition and is over 130 years old. She was originally a “pull tab” die-cut with moving parts. There used to be a paper tab behind the cornucopia and when pulled or pushed, the items would go in and out of the cornucopia. The cross, heart, and dove are symbolic of treasured gifts, given and received. I candy-striped the boat with antique and vintage trims, and selected specific flowers from my vintage millinery collection to create a garland as cheerful and beautiful as the maiden is.
