Gabrielle contacted me because she wanted a lamb ornament that looked like “Adoration of the Mystic Lamb” center panel from the famous Flemish 15^th century 12-panel altarpiece (included in pictures). I was happy to find a beautiful spotless lamb to represent the purity of Jesus and a rectangular ornament the right size for the little antique scrap. Even though this is a small ornament, it is ornately decorated with a variety of antique Dresden paper trims, to include an elaborate tiny cross, representing Christ’s sacrifice.   I used pure white antique linen from an antique handkerchief for the platform and antique green chenille with tiny vintage fabric flowers to represent a green meadow. An antique mercury glass pike supports the Lamb and crinkle-wire streams down from the top, representing the golden rays from the Holy Spirit.
