SPECIAL FEATURES

Jennifer asked us to make bird-themed ornaments for her granddaughters. I started with a beautifully embossed antique molded gold ornament paired with an antique scrap robin with “forget-me-not” motto. I added antique Dresden papers intermixed with red and green antique silk threads and ivory chenille dusted with clear glitter to look like freshly fallen snow. Coming out of the top of the ornament I selected an antique scrap little girl nestled inside a tulip. With this particular design, the best solution for hanging the ornament was to attach a vintage candle-clip for affixing to a tree branch.
