Jennifer asked us to make bird-themed ornaments for her granddaughters. I selected this adorable antique scrap child riding a swallow to go with the mid-century oval glass ornament and added a variety of gold and silver Dresden paper trims and antique fabrics, to include antique organza ruffle that matches the scarf the child is holding. A vintage bouquet of silk florals and rare silver and pink tinsel roping add to the charm of this sweet ornament.
