Ruth asked me to make her a kitty stocking ornament. She sent me a picture of her long-hair grey tabby, and I was able to find an antique scrap version that looked very similar, down to her beautiful green eyes. The stocking was made with vintage cotton batting covered over cardboard, antique green crepe paper (matching the eye color), antique lace netting, antique metallic lace, antique silk velvet, 3 different kinds of antique fabric cording, and all kinds of Dresden paper trims and stars, and vintage tinsel.
