Beautifully rendered antique scrap George and Martha ride in style in an airship reminiscent of the century-old cigar-shaped Zeppelins. Both airship and gondola are crafted entirely from scratch with molded cardboard covered with antique cotton batting and antique metallic silver netting. Antique materials include: silk flag remnants (two ends of zeppelin); Dresden paper frame showcasing scrap American eagle emblem; antique ivory silk (behind frame); a variety of decorative wires; fabric netting with cotton poufs and tassels; antique chenille trim; fabric loop trim.
