Stacy adores all things patriotic, especially ornaments that look like the whimsical early creations that combined a variety of different materials in unique an imaginative ways – just as were made prior to 1900 in Victorian times. John Adams, the 2^nd U.S. President, looks noble and competent tucked inside a paper basket made with rare vintage wired paper stars and stripes border, Vintage golden Dresden papers and vintage patriotic ribbon. A WW2 era blimp ornament (original “Western Germany” label, wire-wrap and cording intact), has cardboard fins covered with antique red “shellac” paper, and vintage ribbon. Blimp is attached to gondola via our last piece of rare vintage cellophane garland we reserved for just the right ornament.
