Susan gave me this beautiful very old antique Victorian die-cut angel on a swing (in need for restoration) and asked me to do my magic with her. After her amazing makeover I added vintage ivory chenille and vintage mica flakes to her attire, and came up with a way to have her look like she was swinging under a flowering wintry arbor by constructing a built-up cardboard frame with a bottom window and curved top. I decorated the frame with vintage red cellophane, antique silver “Seasons Greetings” script, and a custom floral garland made with an antique wax flower bridal’s veil intertwined with antique composition holly leaves and berries. For the final finish I used my rare supply of vintage Venetian due fine glitter to create the effect of freshly fallen frosty snow!
