2 feet long; swags between 2 to 3 branches

    SPECIAL FEATURES

Vivian asked me to create more 2 foot garlands to go with her Victorian garlands she had ordered in the past for her feather tree. She sent me a few of her Victorian beads she collected to incorporate in the garland with beads from my inventory. I made these unique garlands with special attention to the color combinations and types of beads that Vivian likes.

These Circa 1900-1920s beads are hand-strung in 2 foot lengths and designed to loop gracefully between one or two branches by hanging with hooks attached on each end of the garland. Each garland is a one-of-a-kind creation of mostly circa 1900s German glass beads; I use a wide variety of shapes, colors and sizes in the very style that original Victorian bead strings were created. Buy individual strands as stand-alone accents or purchase several garlands to fill your tree for full Victorian effect!

These special beads are fragile due to their age and delicate quality. Bead strings are carefully cushioned in soft tissue on all sides to avoid breakage and are packaged in our signature Dresden Star Ornaments gold boxes. Handy care and handling tips sheet is included in each box. We recommend that you store these garlands between tissue in their original box when not in use.

    Lovingly created by Alicia Giaimo.

JUST IMAGINE, THESE GARLANDS ARE ARE BETWEEN 100-120 YEARS OLD!!!  Please note that missing paint, discoloration due to age, and rough edges will be present on these garlands and is a normal part of the character of older vintage items. I have been careful NOT to use any broken or cracked beads. I have taken good pictures so you can examine the condition before you buy. Additional note: We prefer not to use "mercury glass" in our descriptions or titles because it was actually a silver nitrate solution, not real mercury, that was applied inside the glass beads during these time periods to give a metallic appearance to the colors.
