Back in the day Victorian boys were as stylish as their sisters; they were dressed in blouses with ruffled collars and sleeves, poufy nickers, dramatic sashes, and wore their hair in long, loose curls. This antique paper doll wears a soft cuddly clown costume made with antique cotton from the inside of an 1860s quilt decorated with the tiniest of antique lace, red silk thread, tiny black and gold Dresden paper trims, and antique tinsel. He holds circa 1930s spun-cotton cat cocktail pick adorned with antique fabric; how cute!   HANDMADE AND SIGNED BY GAIL GIAIMO.
