THE STORY BEHIND THIS ORNAMENT
In a fairytale land where talent can be found in the most unlikely of places, there lived two creatures with rare musical abilities. While others were sawing out melodies from within their bodies, one grasshopper gentleman preferred the refined tones of a fiddle. All the creatures small and large danced to his lilting rhythmic songs. A fair rose maiden also listened from behind a walled in garden. She so desired to see who was creating such lovely music, that she began to sing. Her voice lifted over the wall and wafted over, interweaving with the grasshopper’s tunes. Stunned and enchanted, the grasshopper followed the sound of her lovely voice, hopped over the wall, and introduced himself to the rose maiden. After finding one another they were inseparable, for making music together became their life-long passion. Hand-made and signed by Glenn Giaimo and Gail Giaimo.
