The last set of gilded glass carousel ornaments that Glenn created were so popular that we culled through our trove of treasures until we could find the right-sized animals – an antique scrap leopard, zebra, fox, and ibex – scaled to glass ornaments the shapes and colors fitting for this Victorian amusement park ride in ornament form. Expert craftsmanship and details abound at a miniature scale. Each animal is decorated with antique tinsel, antique glass rods, miniature gold paper, silk threads and antique Dresden stars.  The animals dangle freely from German made decorative wire bent in graceful curves around a glass sphere loaded with antique papers and trims, to include four clowns, backed with antique red velvet silk inside oval golden Dresden paper frames.  As there is no separate front or back to this ornament, all 360 degrees are spectacular.
